Relieve Stress With These Simple Yoga Poses

Sometimes your life starts to get a little complicated, so you also get stressed out. A quick and simple yoga break, even for just 10 minutes can relieve your stress.

Fortunately, there are ways to relieve your stress with these simple yoga poses. Here’s how:

1. Easy Pose or Sukhasana


1. Sit on the floor with your legs stretched out. Use a yoga mat or a cushion when sitting on the floor.
2. Fold your left leg and tug it inside your right thigh. Then fold your right leg and tug in inside the left thigh.
3. Keep your hands on the knees and sit with your spine straight and erect.
4. Breathe normally and relax your whole body.
5. Maintain this position for as long as you are comfortable.

2. Legs up the Wall


1. With your legs stretched in front of you, lie on your side. Then slide towards the wall and place your butt against it.
2. Turn on your back, while placing your legs on the wall.
3. Relax your face, neck and abdomen. Breathe and hold the position for 10 minutes.

3. Supta Baddha Konasana

1. Lie on your back with the bottoms of your feet touching and put a couple of pillows or a folded blanket under each leg. The blankets should hold your legs up high enough, so you willl not feel a deep stretch in your inner thighs.
3. Put your hands on your belly.
4. Close your eyes and breathe.

4. Restorative Twist on Bolster

1. Sit beside a stack of folded blankets, while placing a folded pillow or blanket between your knees.
2. Place your chest towards the floor and lay your chest down on the blankets.
3. Bend both of your arms at 90 degrees and let them say on the mat on either side of the blankets.
4. Close your eyes and breathe.
5. Turn your head and repeat procedure.
