Homemade Carrot Cough Syrup Recipe:
1/2 kg of carrot
3-4 tablespoons of honey
2 teaspoon freshly chopped ginger
1. Cut the carrots into small pieces.
2. Place into a small saucepan, then add water until they are completely covered.
3. Cook using medium heat.
4. Once boiling, add the ginger and continue boiling until the carrots are soft.
5. Strain using a fine mesh strainer over a large bowl. Do not throw away the water.
6. Blend the carrots and ginger until smooth.
7. When the water is lukewarm, add the honey. Then stir until the honey is dissolved.
8. Add water to the mashed carrots.
9. Blend again until smooth.
How to Consume Carrot Cough Syrup:
Take 3-4 spoons of this mixture daily. After 1-2 days it will help get rid of your cough, and will help remove phlegm for your lungs.
