Beetroots are very healthy. Its vibrant red color is bursting with powerful antioxidants. Also, it is well known for reducing blood pressure, because of their high nitric oxide content.

Drinking just one cup of beetroot juice has been shown to help lower blood pressure by 10 mm Hg for 24 hours. Beetroot juice, relaxes blood vessels and improves blood flow. Also, beets are considered to be a liver tonic, because they can support the liver in cleansing the body.

You can try making a Pink Beetroot Latte, with the below basic recipe:

Beetroot Latte Recipe

Ingredients:
1 to 2 tsps Beetroot powder or you can juice 1-2 small beets
1 Tbsp Raw honey (optional)
1 cup warm Unsweetened non-dairy milk
1/2 tsp Cinnamon or Ginger

Directions:
1. Combine beetroot juice or powder, cinnamon and honey.
2. Gently stir in warm milk in small amounts.
3. Drink and enjoy your way to better health!
