Blackheads can be quite annoying and often it occurs when your pores become clogged with excess sebum (an oil made by the sebaceous glands, which helps keep the skin supple) and dead skin cells.
The main difference between whiteheads and blackheads are whether or not the pore is open or closed. If the pores are open, the plug of sebum or skin cells oxidizes, as it is in contact with the oxygen in the air, which makes it black.
Blackheads are not caused by dirt. Therefore, scrubbing your face obsessively is not a smart way to get rid of your blackheads, but instead will make it worse. You will end up drying out your skin, which will cause more oil to be created, to make up for everything you stripped away.
Below is a Simple and Easy Trick to Get Rid of Blackheads:
2-3 Ice cubes
2 tablespoon mint toothpaste
1 tablespoon salt
1. Mix 2 tablespoons of mint toothpaste and 1 tablespoon of salt using a mixing bowl, until it becomes a paste.
2. Apply on areas where blackheads can be seen such as the nose.
3. Massage the nose using a circle motion with water.
4. Once the area is clean, you can now rub the ice cubes.
How It Works?
The salt is known to work as a powerful antibacterial ingredient, that helps in exfoliating the skin without being dissolved in the mixture.
Note: You will notice that your nose will turn red, but it will immediately go away. For people with dry skin, you can try using a moisturizer after this treatment.
