  4. Increase vitamin C intake. Another remedy to urinary tract infection is to increase your intake of foods with vitamin C. Vitamin C can make your urine more acidic which inhibits the growth of bacteria in the urinary tract. You can also take vitamin C supplements to help you find relief for your UTI.
